A week after the AVCA First Serve Showcase wraps up in Lincoln, Nebraska, all eyes will shift to Tennessee. Announced Thursday morning, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville will play host to the inaugural Brodway Block Party.
This new event is comprised of a doubleheader, with Nebraska and Kentucky along with Purdue and Tennessee set to face off. Each team is receiving $40,000 to compete; both matches will be aired on ESPN.
The competition is sure to be elite, as all four teams participated in the NCAA Tournament this past season, and three of the four made it to at least the Sweet 16.
