Former University of Louisville Volleyball standout Charitie Luper has been selected to participate in the inaugural Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF) All-Star Match. The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 1:30 PM ET at the Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana, and will be broadcast nationally on CBS.
Luper, an outside hitter for the Vegas Thrill, was added to Team Shondell's roster. In her rookie season, Luper has made a significant impact, recording 67 kills, six aces, and 65 digs over 26 sets.
The PVF All-Star Match is a testament to the rapid growth of professional volleyball in the United States. As one of the fastest-growing sports at both the collegiate and professional levels, volleyball is gaining unprecedented mainstream attention. The league’s partnership with CBS marks a major milestone, bringing high-level competition to a national audience and further solidifying volleyball's place in the pro sports landscape.
