Children of the Corn: Nebraska's #2 Class of '26

Huskers Load Up With Athletes

#2 Nebraska Cornhuskers Avg PPV 282 Total Verbals 3

1 Diamond Level and 2 Gold Level

Athletic and powerful, that’s the 2026 Nebraska Cornhusker recruiting class.  Though it may have taken a few more days than usual, the perennial powerhouse landed top targets with huge athletic upside, and again, athleticism isn’t an issue.

The first commit of the class was Gabby DiVita Legacy Volleyball OH PPV 265

The Legacy star is known as a fierce competitor and one of the best passing OHs in the class.  When DiVita swings, she isn’t cheated.  Because she has always played slightly undersized for her position, she has long been skilled at shot-making and court vision, which gives her the all-around game.  Confidence and fearlessness are not lacking in Gabby, and she will take on any challenge anytime, so the moment and prestige of playing at Nebraska won’t be too much for her.

Jayden Robinson Houston Skyline OH/OPP PPV 297.

Robinson was such a great recruiting debate last club season.  With us (obviously with Nebraska) and many top programs, what blew up her recruiting stock was her ceiling.  This kid is just getting better and has the athletic upside matched by maybe 1 or 2 others in the class.  She also has position flexibility having truly played OPP and even making the U19 National Team at that position.  This could be way big down the road.  Robinson will need to work on technique, but I think the best part of this commitment is that she may be one who will look to redshirt and won’t “expect to play right away,” something that could cause issues up the roster with other recruiting classes.  Robinson could really turn into a machine with an extra year of college training.

Then, the one that had all of Husker Faithful hanging on every single tweet and blog post for what seemed like a year, but in the end, it was just as everyone had predicted from day one. Keoni Williams Dallas Skyline Middle Blocker PPV 286

Williams ended up being the #1 middle in a weaker-than-average class and is solid in all phases of her game.  She sticks out on a court and has that “next level frame” that you can see as a physical B1G middle.  She didn’t take over games offensively but could with her block.  You are getting a solid piece to put in your rotation and battle for quality reps, but is another that will need to continue to work at her game heading into her time in Lincoln.

This Husker class is a bit riskier and has a high reward when I look at it, but you can afford to be because you are Nebraska.  They went after the best athletes at positions with the highest ceilings.  DiVita gives you a solid OH that can immediately help you in the back row, and her fire will never hurt a squad.  Projecting Robinson as a 22-year-old is scary how strong and athletic she could be, and you took the most athletic middle in the class.
