Decision ‘26

What they are getting

As we wind down the first week of June 15th and verbal commitments, an exciting but nervous time period for the athletes and coaches. Several more prospect profile ecruits have announced their future programs and Wisconsin lands early #1 recruiting class.

Madison Victoriano Setter Dallas Skyline - Vanderbilt University, Anchors

Victoriano takes a chance with a new volleyball program at Vanderbilt University, joining highly rated recruits before her and a high level coaching staff. Victoriano is an undersized setter who jumps well in the front row for a block presence, but what makes her stand out is her ability to distribute the ball. She is a smart setter and reads the game well, putting her hitters in situations to score.

Victoriano led her team to a National Championship in 15 Open last year, she is a technical setter that has the strength off the net to keep accurate location and fast on defense to make an impact in the back court as well. She is the ideal setter for any college program, a hard worker who is constantly looking for ways to get better and has all the physical tools to be one of the nations best collegiate setters.

Halle Thompson Outside Hitter Houston Skyline - University of Wisconsin, Badgers

A highly anticipated commitment for many club volleyball fans, Thompson will join Flanagan as two of the nations top outside hitter duos. Thompson is a stand out athlete, not only for her dynamic approach jump, but for her all around game and persona on the court.

Thompson plays with confidence, as an athlete named to the U19 team and #2 overall recruit in the nation, the Badgers bring home the #1 early recruiting class for 2026. She is dependable on serve receive by covering a lot of court and has the skills to defend at a high level. Thompson is a naturally physical outside hitter that is quick with her feet and will be an impact player on any team.

Nadiya Johnson Outside Hitter Metro - Baylor University, Bears

Johnson has grown tremendously over the past two years into the high flier and physical athlete she is, gaining her the opportunity to be an alternate for the U19 team this summer. She is a dominant attacker from the leftside and rightside, with her length at 6’2 and 31 in approach jump, there aren't many blockers that can defend her.

Her game has developed into a six rotation right side hitter, who can defend in the back court and is a go-to option for her Metro team on the back row attack. One of the most gifted players in class who has a very high ceiling, Thompson is a blocking threat at the net shutting down the top outside hatters and is quick in her approach off the net to always be an option for her team.
