From the Film Room: Class of 2028 pt. 4

2028s rejoice! Here is this week’s edition of “From the Film Room,” highlighting our top-ranked recruits from the class!

Makenzie Turosik - Libero/DS, Texas Legacy 16 Elite, PPV 195

From our most recent player profile article…”This defensive stud has a knack for always being in the right place at the right time. Making cross-court digs with ease, Turosik can also extend and cover a wide margin of the backcourt! This AVCA phenom is ready to rise!”

Quinn Cassel - Outside, Alliance 15 REN, PPV 190

With her quick, snappy arm swing, this attacker is dynamic! She is mobile on defense and solid all around!

Bella Desensi - Libero/DS, KiVA 15 Red, PPV 176

Desensi is spunky and plays with high energy, making her a clear leader on the court. Her willingness to do anything it takes to get the ball up makes her electrifying to watch!

Isabella Linden - Libero/DS, OTVA 15-1 Randy, PPV 175

This defender plays with great fluidity and has high-level ball control. Steady in serve receive and a great setter, as well, she is a valuable asset to her team!

Madison Jinks - 2028, OH, Houston Jrs, PPV 175

Jinks is a promising athlete, ranking in the top category of nearly every measurable. She has a high volleyball IQ, knowing when to hammer the ball and when to place a tip right over the block!

Reagan Futa - Libero/DS, Munciana 15 Blue, PPV 189

She is springy and uses her low center of gravity to shoot toward the ball. She moves extremely well both laterally and forward, allowing her to be a top defensive recruit in the class!

Kennedy Hummert - Libero/DS, PGH 16 Elite, PPV 175

Hummert is a solid libero. She does everything well and is extremely efficient in her movement, making her a great prospect!

Rachel Nemee - Libero/DS, Rage 15 National, PPV 174

She keeps everything simple and it allows her play freely and cruise around the court. Sliding in and out of seams with ease, Nemee is one I am excited to keep watching!

Reese Moriarty - Outside, Houston Juniors 15 Premier, PPV 172

Moriarty is a six rotation stud. She can demolish a ball in the front row, then step back in the next rotation and pass dimes in serve receive. A player that can do it all is everything that coaches are looking for and she seems to fit the bill!

Maggie Jewell - Middle, NC Academy 15 Diamond, PPV 172

She is extremely long and uses it to her advantage. In the blocking game, she can reach and close and on the offensive end she can cut and turn a ball at many different angles due to her contact point. As she continues to grow into her game, look out!
