Emma Ormsby - 2027, Outside, Big Sky, PPV 168
This 2027 prospect is a multi-sport, multi-position athlete. She is a quality track star and succeeds on the court, swinging from all three front-row locations. Hailing from Montana, Ormsby was a UA Next invitee, standing out with her impressive athleticism and jumping abilities, touching 122”!
Lila Bruszewski - 2027, Outside, The Academy Volleyball Club, PPV 157
Bruszewski is a fiery player. She swigs aggressively at all times, aiming high and hard, resulting in efficient tools when there is a solid block in front of her. A 2023 AVCA Phenom Watch List member, Lila is a tremendous athlete and is extremely fun to watch!
Marley Bemus - 2027, Setter, COAST Volleyball Club, PPV 127
As a setter, IQ is a trait that all the best have; Bemus has just that. She facilitates her offense at a high level, and her smooth hands allow her to put her hitters at an advantage consistently. Although she is only 5’10”, she can get up to stuff the ball as well!
Avery Lane - 2029, Outside, Vital Volleyball Club
This 2029 hitter is putting herself out there early! It is always great to learn and follow new players, and Lane is no exception!
Chloe Edens - 2026, Libero, A5, PPV 103
Edens does everything well. Solid in serve receive and defense, she fits her role perfectly and delivers for A5 17 Angel. As the June 15 deadline has come and gone, she is free to commit at any point, and we look forward to seeing where she will take her talents!
Graycen Cawthon - 2028, Setter, A5, PPV 118
Another A5 clubmate putting her name out there, Cawthon has more flexibility in her recruiting journey as a current freshman. That aside, she has great footwork and uses her legs to push the ball all the way out to the pin. An AAU National Champion and AVCA Phenom Camp attendee, Cawthon is one to keep your eyes on!
Karysn St John - 2028, Libero, TAV Houston, PPV 139
St. John plays with an exceptional, calm presence. Her moves are extremely fluid and simple, letting her angle and setup do the work for her. She is extremely technical in her approach and is a constant in the back row. If she continues to improve, I wouldn’t be surprised to see her climb higher and higher in our rankings!
Sydney Rincon - 2029, Setter, City Volleyball
Another setter on this list, Rincon is the craftiest of the bunch. Possessing good awareness, she is dynamic in her play style and keeps the opposing defense on its toes!
Sophia Newland - 2027, Libero, Rockcity Eastside Cleveland Volleyball, PPV 129
Newland understands the flow of the game extremely well and always seems to be in the right spot to make a play. She flashes with impressive digs and flies around the backcourt. I look forward to following her development!
Kamryn Cocherl - 2027, Outside, Mintonette, PPV 149
This 2027 player is a stud. She has a powerful arm swing and can hit virtually every shot in the book. Basing her shots on the block in front of her, she boasts great game recognition and just knows how to get the ball down - the cardinal skill of an outside hitter. The more she plays, the better she will get, and that is something I am eager to see!
