Prospect Report: Day one Final Four NTDP

Prospect Report: Day one Final Four NTDP

The Prospect Report

It felt so great being around a gym environment again and seeing preps training and having fun.  Here is the Prospect Report from Day 1 of the NTDP and also what we are prospect notes from the recruiting world right before we hit 2025.

Malorie Boesiger, Class of 2027 Setter, Nebraska

Standout star of the day hands down (or hands up because she is a setter).  This one was easy.  The Nebraska ONE setter is BACK and HEALTHY and was setting dimes.  Smooth and accurate and in control.  Saw Malorie at several different drill stops and was the best of her group each time.  Get ready for her PPV to take a jump and this is such good news for her heading into 2025.

Devyn Wiest, Class of 2025 OH, Arizona

The University of Utah commit was powerful in training and a dominant attacker out of the back row.  Very fun to watch and one of the more athletic OH’s in the pack today.

Gabby Divita, Class of 2026 OH, Legacy VB in Michigan

The Nebraska commit is the first of the 2026 that jumped out as an athlete that looks way more mature than a few months ago.  Bigger and stronger very noticeable immediately when you see her.  Exciting year ahead.

Kendall Northern, Class of 2026 MB, Elevation Volleyball OH

Northern one of the later commits in the last class really looked good today.  Filling in and getting stronger.  Look for her to have some possible options at playing multiple positions when she gets to Penn State.  Smoother and stronger than she was last Sumer already.

Addison Makun, Class of 2026 MB, KIVA Volleyball KY

When DBK says she needs to lock down a hometown kid to make a class you listen.  First chance seeing Addison Makun and not surprised she outperformed most middles in the gym on day 1.  Quietly smooth and powerful Makun was dominating in many individual drills and don’t worry about the physical part of the game, she has that taken care of.  She is strong and explosive.

Logan Bell, Class of 2025 OH/DS,

Working with liberos all day had a  solid day.  Being a career OH she is physical and covers ground.  Platform good and technique solid.

Will watch some other 2027s tomorrow that are mixed in with the older group.  Today you could tell the age difference a bit as they struggled a bit, other than Boesiger.  See who jumps up on Day 2.

Plus we have AVCA PHENOM action taking place all in Louisville.
