Creighton 2025 Class Signifies What Program is Built On

The Creighton Bluejay might not have brought in the largest 2025 recruiting class when it comes to a number of athletes, but the class couldn't be a better representation of what has built the corp of one of the most consistent D1 Women's volleyball programs of the past decade.  Ashlyn Paymal and Abbey Hayes are perfect Creighton commits.  Regional athletes that love the sport and are honestly undervalued on the national scene.  Both athletes have a ton of upside, and if they put in the work, they could be in for big careers that will have many schools saying, "Why didn't we offer her."

Hayes has the ability to push for early time on a young Creighton squad.  A fierce competitor who hit a big growth-spurt her Sr. year of school and is explosive with an extremely competitive side.  If she can discover that "Go-To Mentality" that special athletes have watch out Creighton fans.

Paymal the hometown athlete has the frame to really turn into a steal on the right-side down the road.  She will take a year or so to develop to the strength and speed of the college game and will have to really commit to the day-to-day grind of the college grind but Creighton won a recruiting battle over a couple of rival schools for Paymal and she was drawing interest because of her "high-ceiling" based on some physical tools she has that you just can't teach.

So the size of the class won' wow you, but don't be surprised if the heart and the talent turn out to exactly what Creighton fans are used to seeing from undervalued regional recruits brought in by this staff....A couple of VERY GOOD college volleyball players that WIN a lot of matches at DJ Sokol.
