- What is your favorite volleyball memory so far in your career?
It’s hard to choose just one favorite moment because I’ve truly loved every part of my volleyball journey. Some of the best memories have been off the court—team dinners, long tournament weekends, and all the time spent bonding with teammates. Those experiences have created friendships that I’ll always be thankful for. But if I had to choose one specific experience, it would be competing at UA Next. It was an incredible opportunity to meet so many talented players and be part of such a high-level event. Another unforgettable memory was getting the chance to watch the NCAA Final Four in person, thanks to my amazing parents. I’m so grateful for that experience—it was truly inspiring to watch some of the best players in college volleyball and learn so much just by seeing them compete up close. If you could play any position other than your own what would it be?
Libero for sure.
- If you could play any position other than your own, what would it be?
I would choose to be an outside hitter because it offers so many chances to contribute to the team’s success, especially on offense. Outside hitters are involved in almost every play, which makes the role both dynamic and impactful. I enjoy the variety of attacks—whether it’s hitting line, going cross-court, tooling the block, or placing a smart roll shot—because it keeps the game exciting and constantly challenges me to improve. It’s a position that requires versatility, quick decision-making, and a competitive mindset, all of which I love bringing to the court.
- Do you play any other sports? Or If you could play any sport other than volleyball at the high level you are at what would it be?
If I could play another sport at a high level, it would be either tennis or basketball. I’ve always loved the fast pace and competitiveness of both. Tennis challenges you to stay mentally tough and focused, especially since it’s such an individual game. Basketball, on the other hand, has that same team dynamic and energy I love about volleyball. Both sports deal with footwork, court awareness, and mental toughness, which translate really well to everything I love about volleyball.
- What are you looking forward to this club season?
I’m really looking forward to competing at a higher level in the Open division. It’s an exciting opportunity to challenge myself against top competition. I’m also excited to grow alongside my teammates—pushing each other, learning together, and continuing to build strong chemistry as a team.
- Do you have a favorite volleyball skill? Stuff block, big kill, out of system set, etc?
My favorite skill in volleyball is definitely a big block—there’s just nothing like that feeling. I also love the challenge of putting down a strong kill against a tough block. Those moments are so exciting and really help fire up the energy of the match.
- Who is your favorite NCAA volleyball player?
My favorite NCAA volleyball player is Andi Jackson. She’s an incredible middle, and I really enjoy watching and learning from the way she plays. Her energy, athleticism, and presence at the net make her so fun to follow and a great example to look up to.
- What do you like to do outside of the volleyball gym? Hobbies?
Outside of volleyball, I love spending time on the water—whether it’s paddle boarding, wake surfing, or just enjoying the outdoors. I’m also into activities like hiking, skiing, and exploring nature whenever I can. During the school year, I stay involved through clubs like Varsity in Volunteerism and Future Business Leaders of America. I enjoy staying active, both physically and in my community, and always look for ways to grow as a leader and team member.
- Do you have a role model or an influential person in your life? Who and what's the story?
My entire family has been incredibly supportive throughout my volleyball journey, and I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done and taught me. But if I had to highlight one person, it would be my cousin Taylor. She’s been a true role model for me, especially as a hardworking middle blocker. I started watching her college games when I was in third grade, and that’s when I really fell in love with the sport. I don’t think I would’ve found my passion for volleyball that early without her. I feel so lucky to have someone like her to look up to as I work toward my goal of playing at the next level.
- If you had to give advice to younger girls what advice/tips would you give?
My advice to younger players is to enjoy every step of the process. Improvement takes time, and the growth comes from showing up, working hard, and loving the game. Don’t stress too much about being perfect—just stay passionate, keep learning, and enjoy the ride - be where your feet are.
