Get to know Hadley Lichty

Get to know the fast rising setter from North Carolina and Triad United. Hadley Lichty is an solid setter in the 2027 class with a PPV of 168 who passes the eye test, 6’ QB with a high contact point? What more could you ask for? I had the chance to ask Hadley a couple of questions about her to get to know her. Hope you all enjoy these fun facts about Hadley as much as I did!

  • What is your favorite volleyball memory so far in your career?

I would say beating my High School's biggest rival in 5 this past season.

  • If you could play any position other than your own what would it be?

Libero for sure.

  • Do you play any other sports? Or If you could play any sport other than volleyball at the high level you are at what would it be?

I play Beach Volleyball. If I could play another sport at a high level it would be soccer.

  • What are you looking forward to this club season?

The recruiting process and playing against elite competition.

  • Do you have a favorite volleyball skill? Stuff block, big kill, out of system set, etc?

Stuff block for sure!

  • Who is your favorite NCAA volleyball player?

  • What do you like to do outside of the volleyball gym? Hobbies?

Outside of volleyball I try to workout at least 3 times a week. I love to read and listen to music outside of volleyball too!

  • Do you have a role model or an influential person in your life? Who and what's the story?

My oldest sister Madie. I was introduced to volleyball from my sister because she played Beach and I had to go to all of her matches, and she continued playing at Costal Carolina. She definitely taught me a competitor.

  • If you had to give advice to younger girls what advice/tips would you give?

My advice for younger players is that mistakes are going to happen and you have to learn to let it go. Also, hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.
