Create a Player ProfileIf Longhorns Know One Thing, It's How to Win A Championship

It's the start of the playoffs. Your team has gone through its ups and downs, honestly with more downs than ups. You had a midseason head coaching change and finished 5-11, tied for last in the league, with a 1-11 record over the last 12 games. But the LOVB finals provides a fresh start and helps you rewrite the story of your team's inaugural pro season.
This is exactly what LOVB Austin did, winning three consecutive games to clinch a championship and drop the confetti in the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. There are more LOVB players that graduated from Texas (9) than any other school in the country, and all of them play for LOVB Austin. The former Longhorns proved that they know how to peak at the right moment in a run reminiscent of the 2023 National Championship run for Texas. The postseason campaign was full of comebacks and upsets, including two reverse sweeps, one of which was against the #1 team in the tournament, and concluded with a sweep of the team from Nebraska. That heated rivalry bleeds over from college to the pros, and Texas continues to get the better of Nebraska in recent years.
It was also reminiscent of the 2022 National Championship with Logan Eggleston and Madisen Skinner leading the charge. The pair had 17 kills each in the championship in only three sets of action, and hit an eye-popping .469 and .308, respectively. In a shocker to nobody, Skinner was outstanding all tournament long and won the Most Valuable Player of the LOVB Finals. She has now won 4 championships in the last 5 years and has never lost a championship game. An unreal performer when it comes to tournament time.
The Longhorns will look to emulate their LOVB counterparts when it comes to tournament time in December. You already know they'll be ready to peak at the right time and make a deep run.
