Create a Player ProfileJerritt Elliott 'More Invested Than Ever'

With the transfer portal window being closed for the past two months, many collegiate volleyball teams have entered a quieter phase in their offseason. And with Texas spring games still weeks away, the anticipation for competitive action feels distant for fans. But for Jerritt Elliott, this offseason is far from a lull.
According to Assistant Coach Reily Buechler Canter, Jerritt Elliott has shown more offseason investment in the team recently than she's ever seen before. Where many coaches might take a step back during slower periods, Elliott has doubled down on his commitment to player development. Reportedly, he's taking a lot of extra time to review practice film to find any and all ways to develop his players. He's teaching extra skills in 1-on-1 drills before practice and during water breaks, which is more commonly done by the other coaches on his staff.
Buechler Canter also noted that the team, even with a large number of new players, has meshed together so well off the court that it has allowed Coach Elliott to focus his energy towards making on-the-court improvements. There's a real excitement about the potential of this current group of players from Jerritt Elliott, as he carries a sense of optimism that this team could accomplish something special in the 2025 season.
