If you're a volleyball fan, you already know: Louisville is having a moment. After hosting the electrifying NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship this past December—where our very own Louisville Cardinals faced off against powerhouse Penn State—the city is welcoming yet another major volleyball showdown.
League One Volleyball (LOVB) is making its championship debut right here in the Ville. From April 10 to 13, 2025, the LOVB Finals will light up the KFC Yum! Center, bringing six professional teams from across the country to compete in a tournament-style battle for the first-ever league title.
And yes, it’s going to be just as epic as it sounds.
The event kicks off with quarterfinals on April 10, moves into semifinals on April 11, and wraps with the championship match on April 13. Whether you grab a three-day pass or single-day tickets, it’s the kind of high-level volleyball action you won’t want to miss.
Why does this matter for Louisville? Because it’s more than just hosting another big event—it’s about putting our volleyball legacy on the map. And speaking of legacy, two familiar faces will be returning to play on this very stage.
Louisville alums Claire Chaussee and Anna Stevenson Hall, who now play professionally for LOVB Madison, will be suiting up in the Finals. From college standouts to pro-level powerhouses, these two are carrying the Cardinal pride with them all the way to the top.
With Olympians, international talent, and hometown heroes all under one roof, the LOVB Finals are shaping up to be the volleyball event of the year. And Louisville? We’re front and center—again.
So whether you're a die-hard Cards fan, a volleyball junkie, or just here for the good vibes, mark your calendars. Volleyball greatness is coming back to Louisville, and this time, it’s pro.
