Team Iowa is highlighted by recent Creighton verbal, Abbey Hayes from Six Pack. Payton Peterson (Louisville), Jadyn Peterson (Northern Iowa), Kenzie Dean (Kansas), and Maliyah Hacker will be strong on the pins for Team Iowa.

The Swenson sisters, outside hitter Olivia and setter Stella (Minnesota verbals), highlight Team Minnesota along with middle Kaia Caffee (Ohio State) and libero Sam Unitedt (SDSU).

Team Kansas…quite the gauntlet of talent here. Cam Stucky (Tennessee) and Logan Parks arean athletic setting duo that could lead this team to success. Libero Mya Bolton (Michigan State)will hold down the back court for Team Kansas.

North Dakota is well represented here at the Midwest Battle. Out first team, North Dakota -Nogowski is lead by Ava Jahner at middle and Clara Robin on the outside. On North Dakota -Gibbons we will see Reese Duchsherer taking the setting reigns, and Ellee McIntosh in the middle.

South Dakota couldn’t just have one team either- they have to one up their state to the North! South Dakota - Team Hecht is led by SDSU verbal, middle, Taylor Byl and Illinois verbal, setter/RS, Sophi Randall. South Dakota - Team Fulson may lead the event in digs since they have Illinois commit Taryn Kirsch at libero. We’ll see some big swings from outsides Cate Legel and Nyariek Kur. Personally, I'm looking forward to watching Madelyn Henry on SD Team Hecht. Being one of theyoungest participants we have in this event, I’m interested to see how she will measure with thecompetition. The Kairos outside had a busy summer with Nationals and camps, this could be a fun way to end the summer.

Stay tuned for interviews and more stories from this event here on VBadrenaline.com.
