Create a Player ProfileOfficial Visits Have Begun. What Are Who Are the Top Prospects Remaining
The Patient Ones, How Long Do They Wait?
With official visits beginning at the start of this month, a fact that seems like nearly an afterthought to 65% of the 2026 Class and 95% of the Top 150. How long do some of the higher-interest prospects wait? Do they take all of the allotted visits? Does that string out into the Fall? Do they cram their Top 1-2 into day visits this weekend and commit VERY soon? Nervous times for college staff again as they have been working to get these athletes on-site for a couple of months. Now you must get them there (first if possible), but get them regardless so you can give them your best pitch and let them see you in a more personal light.
Let’s take a look at the top remaining PPV athletes as Official Visit Period begins and what they may be thinking:
1.Sarah Hickman OPP Houston Juniors PPV 295
We have talked about Sarah over and over this year and the recruitment for her has been non-stop. Again major contenders we have heard of are Stanford, Wisconsin, (Texas is a maybe), and Penn State. From talks with Sarah and people close to her, I feel like she will give every option its due time and make an informed/educated decision. It could be anti-climactic for us because I’ve always felt she’s a perfect Stanford fit. In that case, we won’t be able to officially celebrate her until next year. I still believe she will take all her visits I just can’t get confirmation on the seriousness of Texas being in the picture or not.
- Kendall Northern MB Elevation Volleyball PPV 274
Again I think Kendall is in that decision mode of high-academic options or big-time volleyball schools. Can she find a fit that is both? Talking with her at USAN she said she was in NO HURRY and would be taking family vacation and attending NTDP before going on visits. She has camped at Wisconsin and Penn State recently and Notre Dame was thought to be of interest around USAN time. I don’t think she gets pressured this time of year so I also see Kendall taking all four visits before deciding.
- Arianna Muoneke OH TAV Houston PPV 243
This has really been the mystery of the class for us. We haven’t heard anything on either side of Muoneke's fences regarding camps, interests, or favorites. We continue to look and search, but are in the dark on the talented OH from Houston.
- Jordin Southall OH Game Point PPV 229
A mid-season injury derailed much of Southall’s season and recruiting momentum. She showed glimpses of the power and athleticism, that boosted her up early-season charts, during nationals, but also showed some fatigue which is expected. The injury delayed her camp season and Southall wanted to be able to show colleges her best game and I’m guessing they wanted to see it. So this could be one that has a Top 1-2 and visits early and commits. Regardless an athletic player with so much growth ahead of her.
- Kaitlyn Nguyen Libero SIVBC PPV 223
One of the 3 best liberos in the class Nguyen has stated that she will be taking “much time to make an educated decision” so I would look for her to go into late Fall. The Washington State libero is complicated for a variety of reasons. First, does she want to go somewhere to play both beach and indoors and Nguyen will attend an elite academic institution so WAIT and see is very appropriate in Kaitlyn’s situation.
- Sydni Vice OPP Memphis Jrs PPV 209
The talk on the 6’5” Vice has died a bit since the first few weeks of the open period. She camped at many SEC programs this Summer and would look for visits to the same (Guesses: NC State, Auburn, Vandy). Has to be a great project with a 6’5” frame for any program to bring in.
