Signing Day is Approaching: Here's a Few Things I'm Looking Forward to!

National signing day is quickly approaching! On November 13th 2024 the class of 2025 will be signing their financial aid agreements (can't say National Letter of Intent anymore). This really is an exciting day for so many reasons, but it's also just the start. So many high school kids will sign their agreements on the 13th and not realize what is ahead of them. There is so much unknown and so many of these prospects have no idea what to expect. Signing day really IS just a step in the right direction. The real fun is only just beginning!

I am looking forward to so many things but here are a few specifics that make me so excited for National Signing Day for the 2025 class:

1. Like I said, this is the first day these kids are OFFICIALLY part of their programs. I love the excitement involved in this day of getting to say that you are officially part of a program. The table decorations, families showing up in full support in the college colors, cupcakes and desserts with college logos on them, and so much more. It really is just such an exciting day! 
2. Signing day is the first day that coaches can officially start to outwardly talk and post about this class. I can't wait to hear what coaches have to say about their classes and start to see the recruits on some team’s social media!
3. This marks the end of the recruiting process for the prospects. I love the relief these kids and their families will feel knowing that they are taking the next step in living out their dreams of college volleyball. They work for a long time to try to get a scholarship, and even though there is even more work ahead, this is still a day to be excited and celebrate accomplishing something really cool.
4. I love the parents and coaches that have invested so much in these kids see a lot of their investment start to pay off. Club & high school coaches spend years trying to get these kids a chance to sign for a scholarship and they get to see it happen live in font of them. So many parents pour so much into their kids- emotionally, financially, & physically- and to see them watch their kids finally take this step toward their next 4 years is really really cool.
5. I’m the most excited for the festivities we have planned at VB Adrenaline…Our live stream on signing day is going to be like nothing volleyball has ever seen before!

Signing day is going to be one for the books for all of the 2025’s and for us here at VB Adrenaline. I'm really excited to see the day unfold and for the big plans we have for that day- I think you’ll love it too! See you then :)
