It’s A Two Commit Week For The Yellow Jackets '26 Class

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets add two girls from big-name clubs to their already stellar class this week. The Yellow Jackets received verbals from Dallas Skyline Outside Hitter Simone Heard and Mavs KC Right Side Willow Weninger.

Heard verballed earlier this week after reaching 730 kills in her Junior season at Plano East. Heard is part of the incredibly talented 16 Royal team at Dallas Skyline. On the other hand, Weninger is one of the top RS in Kansas with 274 kills on a Blue Valley Southwest team that is currently 4th in 5A. She was also on one of the top club teams last season in Pohaku 16-1 that finished 3rd at Nationals.

These commits mark Georgia Tech’s 4th and 5th verbals so far this cycle. Heard and Weninger join A5 Mizuno’s Riley Bethea (PPV 189), Tribe’s Vitoria Belfort (PPV 151), and SC Elite’s Allie Abernathy (PPV 191)
