Create a Player Profile2025 Top Player Values - Outsides
Signing day was earlier this month and the 2025’s have officially signed to go play college volleyball. This is a really impressive class that has a lot of talent. There are a lot of players in this class that are going to make a really big impact on their college teams.
Our Play Prospect Value (PPV) is a number our experts give to players that determines how well we believe they will impact the college game. We are estimating and predicting the ability of these players to play college volleyball. So often people create lists and assign the “#1 player in a class” but in reality that kid may not be able to ever make THAT much of an impact once she gets to the college game. Another aspect of the PPV that is useful is the fact that some players value’s could change! The fact that one player is a 300 and another is a 299 means that any given day one could be better than the other! That’s why we believe in the PPV and will continue to use this metric to watch prospects!
Back to the 2025 class… In our live show during signing day we had the honor of speaking to some of the best players in the country coming out of this class. A few of them are in this article today. There are quite a few outside hitters that are bound to be big time players in college and potentially even start their freshman year. The outside hitter is a very important position and one that takes a majority of the swings on a team. Having a good one is REALLY important and college coaches know that. Without further ado, these are the highest PPV’s for outside hitters in the 2025 signing class:
Cari Spears- University of Texas, PPV 300- A player that will make a clear impact at the college level. So much height and power behind her swing will allow her to be a weapon for Texas.
Abby Vander Wal- University of Texas, PPV 299- Another OH to texas that has some serious skill. Having Vander Wal and Spears as a 1-2 punch for the Longhorn offense is going to be a huge threat. Her passing game could allow her to play 6 rotations for the longhorns as well!
Abigail Mullen- University of Southern California, PPV 296- She has an upper hand because she is also going to USC with her club setter Reese Messer. Mullen plays well from the right and from the outside making her a threat wherever she is on the court. She's a really dynamic player that could be a GAME CHANGER for coach Brad Keller.
Teraya Sigler- University of Nebraska, PPV 295- This AZ Storm kid has POWER. She can hit the daylights out of the ball and I know I wouldn't want to be on the other side of her swing. She's bound to make strides in the Big Ten.
Suli Davis- BYU, PPV 284- The TAV player with incredible form will most definitely be a power player for BYU. She has great technique with an incredible backswing that allows her to soar.
Kelly Kinney- University of Minnesota, PPV 275- Kinney sees the court really well. She is a smart hitter. Her ability to go up and hit the back corner is one that will take her and the Gophers far.
Asia Harvey- Mizzou, PPV 272- Potentially the snag of the class… Harvey is a GREAT player that has the potential to take Mizzou to the next level in NCAA volleyball. The power behind her armswing will definitely make an impact in the SEC.
Kaci Demaria- Stanford University, PPV 271- Everyone has been saying the 2025 Stanford class is so “Stanford” and I think it could be because Demaria reminds me so much of Katherine Plummer… with a longer arm swing.
Chloe Meester- University of Louisville, PPV 270- UofL is going to need some bodies to replace their outgoing class. Meester has some big shoes to fill with Multi-time All American Anna DeBeer leaving but I definitely think she is up for the challenge and will be successful for the Cards.
Madison Quest- University of Wisconsin, PPV 254- Quest is a long hitter with a whip of an arm. She’s a different player than Sarah Franklin is but I think she will fit in nicely with the offense that Charlie Fuerbringer is running for the Badgers now.
