2027 Silver Level Bro's

2027 Silver Level Bro's

We are slowly breaking down the 2027 class position by position and PPV level by level. Next up on our series is a talented trio of liberos sure to make their mark in the college game in the upcoming years.

First being Cora Bicknese, Vital VBC, 251 PPV, Bicknese is such a fun player to watch. Playing up on Vital's 17-1's team, she plays well beyond her years. She does a great job of the 'show and take' in serve receive and in the film we've watched she takes up more than half the court and still passes extremely well. She's also a scrappy defender at that, reads the game well and creates a lot of options for her team. Bicknese makes the game look 'easy' which is my favorite trait of a great libero, not a ton of flash by moving and diving (potentially unnecessarily) all over the floor, but does her job (and more) and continues to keep her team in matches.

Second we have Elsi Karjanlahti, Finland, 239 PPV, Karjanlahti was a newer name to our board but is hot on the college watch list. Hailing from Finland is technically very sound. Standing at 5'8" she is decently long and is able to take up a lot of court which makes her a force on defense and serve receive. With lots of national team exposure, she's one that coaches are going to love bringing on and strengthening their programs with skill and experience.

Lastly is Kaitlyn Herweg, SCVC, 221 PPV, Herweg reminds me a lot of Taylor Deckert - which makes a lot of sense given they've trained at the same club. Movement is great and has a solid, calm platform. Very fast on her feet, which again allows her to stay up and cover a lot of ground without going to the floor. More to come from this 'bro as June 15th rolls around.
