Six 2027s That Shouldn’t Be Overlooked Heading to January
Makeala Murphy OH Georgia Aces PPV 155 Height 69 inches
Murphy is a 6 rotation OH for her Aces program that is just that, an all-around talent with her best volleyball ahead of her. She is explosive on the court and not afraid of training; look to see how she starts her club season. This could be an OH that jumps up the always-crowded OH PPV ranks.
Bergan Stiff OH/MB Kairos VB PPV 108 Height 71 inches
Stiff is a technically sound volleyball player who is has the ability to play her way onto a D1 roster this Spring. She is physical and is used to playing at the highest level. She has been an undersized MB as her HS team just set the South Dakota State All-Time Consecutive Match Win Streak Record. She will also play on Kairos’ most talented team with 2 other high-profile prospects so coaches will be on her court. If she can improve her explosion and vertical game this Spring she has a D1. She’s on a very talented squad that she isn’t talked about, but look for her to have a shot come 2024.
Amelia Snyder OH OTVA PPV 119 Height 76 inches
Snyder will be one of the developmental projects coaches continue to monitor this Spring. She is already 6’4” so her landing spot will all be about her continued development. How does Amelia continue to progress with her footwork and quickness off the ground. Tying in her swing and touch height with her physical height. All reports we have is that she is an athlete that works hard with a good attitude so that goes a long way. Watch for Snyder making a jump as those physical skills come along and the D1 interest will come along with it.
Erin Cramer MB/OPP Premier Nebraska PPV 113 Height 75 inches
Cramer is a defensive stopper for Premier Nebraska as of now. One of the better MB at putting up the block in the midwest that is her specialty. The challenge for the Omaha native will be incorporating the offensive threat to her game during her 16s season. Speeding up her footwork and quickness off the floor will also help make Cramer more of a target for D1 coaches come recruiting time and come Open Level Play in the 16s division as the competition all gets bigger and better, but she is one of the best Middle ERASERS in the Heartland.
Fara Bronson Setter AZ Storm PPV 181 Height 70 inches
Bronson might be one of the more overlooked players in the country simply because her teammates are so talented. She defines a solid setter and will get plenty of interest at the next level. Height is fine (5’10”) solid footwork and obviously above-average hands (you probably don’t win that starting setter job if you don’t. She is just very unassuming and blends in on the court. Bronson will get interested, and people in the know understand what she can do and how solid she has been for that Storm team. Take a couple minutes and recognize the Setter this club season while watching all of the “big guns” fire away.
Sullivan Lell Libero Alabama Performance PPV 131 Height 65 inches
Lell is a regional secret with national talent. A 131 PPV for now who has primarily stayed around Alabama her film looks great. This is an athlete who doesn’t play on the Championship Court or play for a nationally ranked club, but has some talent and needs to be watched by anyone in the SEC or ACC for sure. Quick and great vision. Lell could be one of the better bros in the Southland this class watch for her come January.
