Six Arizona Stars Made their way to NTDP this past weekend

Six Arizona Stars Made their way to NTDP this past weekend

We have been discussing how talented the state of Arizona is in volleyball right now. At VB Adrenaline I feel like every other kid I am writing about is out of Arizona. The winter training session for NTDP in Colorado Springs was no different. There were 6 players all from the state of Arizona at the training camp this winter and they came ready to play.

Amari Frazier- MB, 2028, AZ Storm - She is a powerful and versatile middle blocker. Her club team last season had her running plays in the middle, outside and even the right side sometimes. She is touching over 10’ and that most definitely helped her out over the weekend at NTDP. Cant wait to continue watching her play with her club team this upcoming season.

Makenzie Owes- OH, 2028, Aspire VBC- Owes is a power hitter. She has a lot of power behind her swing and she was using it this weekend. She has been to NTDP before and has just gotten better each year. I am looking forward to continuing to see her arm swing speed up and see just how much better she can get this upcoming club season.

Addison Martin- Setter, 2029, AZ Sky- She is a young setter with a ton of potential. We haven't had our eyes on this class a ton but Martin is definitely standing out early. She is already a very strong setter and she will only go up from here. This will be a big year for the 2029 setter!

Annabelle Ross- MB, 2028, AZ Storm- Ross is an all around great middle blocker. She attacks well and she also blocks really well. Her ability to read a hitter blocking her 1 on 1 sets her apart from the other middles in her class. Ross also attacks really well cross body. I have enjoyed watching her and I'm ready for her club season to kick off!

Pulelehua Laikona- Libero, 2027, AZ Storm- I've said it before and I'll say it again, she has some of the best highlights out there. I feel like I am watching REAL volleyball when I am watching Laikona play. But besides that, she moves really well on defense and proved her ability to be there this weekend. She moved really well and made some great back row plays over the weekend at NTDP.

Kristen Sheehy- MB, 2027, Revolution- she sees the court really well and is a really strong attacker. I love how long she is while still being sooo strong when she's attacking. She is 6 '4 " and carries herself like she is, but she has a ton of control in the front row and hits in front of the setter really really well.

These are just a couple Arizona natives that made their way over to the springs for NTDP this past weekend and some players that we are excited to see in this upcoming club season!
