Create a Player ProfileTop Ten PPV Biggest Climbers of late Summer
With us updating and adding over 230 PPVs for the Class of 227 from our Pro Evaluators some made BOSS-like jumps from their previous scores. Here are the 10 prospects that made the largest moves PPV-wise.
Natalie Norton
75 OH TX Excel PPV 181
Natalie Norton, a 2027 Outside Hitter from Pantego Christian in Arlington, has been filling up the stat sheet early in her sophomore season. She has led the Panthers to a 15-3 start to the season with incredible matches, including 5 over 30 kills
Norton is currently 7th in all of Texas in kills with 379, according to MaxPreps, but she has done so in 30 fewer sets than all the girls around her. She is dominating Texas with over 7.5 kills per set and has reached her kill amount in only 52 sets. She has made a BIG move on the PPV charts as a notable 2027 Outside and looks the part early in the season.
Kylee Evans
71 MB GA A5 PPV 210
The high flyer out of Georgia has gained “next-level attention” for just that. Her PPV has given her the “high ceiling” tab because she’s jumping through the roof and her best VB is ahead of her. Scouts are excited to watch her get better and better.
Kendyl Strack
65 Libero IN Munciana PPV 168
Solid early prep play and camp performances have Kendyl on the radar of several Big Ten schools.
Kate Colosky
72 MB MI FaR Out PPV 170
Colosky’s 10’2” touch gave her PPV a “jump” and her summer camp performances helped as well.
Kate Kalczynski
OH MI Legacy PPV 265
How do we say this the nicest way possible….we were WAYYYY OFFF with our initial PPV on Kate after multiple conversations we dialed it in and this is much closer. She is simply one of the Top 5-7 OH’s in this class.
Isabella Stojkovic
72 OH AZ Aspire Volleyball PPV 255
Stojkovic is coming on late partially because she plays for a smaller club, but she’s “on the radar” now and her diverse and explosive game has opened the right eyes thus the big bump in her PPV for Isabella.
Sophia Austen
73 OH IA Iowa United PPV 180
the Austen is the best in Iowa for the Class of 2027 and her PPV is rising like she does on the court. Colleges are starting to take notice after a solid end to her summer and her Soph. season is off to a great start.
Kharley Smith
OHTX Skyline Juniors PPV 192
Smith is another explosive player with position flexibility and is making the jump to Skyline next club season. That has piqued interest, and she is off to a hot start in her high school season, leading to a higher PPV bump.
Marlie Smith
70 Setter MI Legacy PPV 255
Smith kind of threw us a curveball when we first interviewed her after nationals and I think we kind of bought into the “well she isn’t invited to NTDP so she isn’t one of the top Setters in the class thinking” and that was silly. She should get a shot at NTDP. 5’9” is the only thing Smith has going against her otherwise she’s as good as any setter in this class. Trust us SEVERAL Top 10 programs will at least consider the option….so Smith received a big bump.
Anya Baklenko
Setter TX Madfrog PPV245
The most intriguing Setter in the class. Anya moved from Cali to Texas this Summer which will be a transition. She is fitting in at the #1 ranked HS program in America right now and will play at Madfrog for the club. Very overlooked in the class of setters Baklenko is diverse and long. Pro evaluators are very interested in watching how she performs playing in Texas and think her PPV could go higher.
